How do I enable tax for a new state and ensure all our products are taxable within that state?

To add tax settings for a particular state visit Settings/Sales Tax. Choose the appropriate tax setting from the drop down list next to the state you are adding. Product tax settings are found on the first page of the edit screen. Click the edit pencil next to the product name and choose the appropriate setting next to 'Taxable'.
