I am using ShipCompliant. I have an order with a Red C next to it in Nexternal. How do I know what's wrong with that order, and how can I fix it?
Response:
Positing the mouse pointer over the icon provides more information about the compliance status.
After you contact the customer and correct the order, it may be resubmitted manually or automatically, depending on whether or not you have activated the automatic synchronization in Settings / Compatible Software / Alcholic Beverage Tools / Preferences. If you would like to manually re-check the order, you may do so by editing the order, and clicking the ShipCompliant Sync button at the bottom of the Order Detail screen, or via Batch Processing (Orders/Batch Process).
Note that a synch command may be used for the following: To recheck the compliance status; update the shipment status of the ShipCompliant Sales Order; export tracking numbers to, or import tracking numbers from, ShipCompliant; or override and replace an existing ShipCompliant Sales Order.
The synchronization rules are as follows, and apply in the given order: If the Nexternal order is Canceled, or meets the Canceled Criteria as defined on the Preferences screen, the ShipCompliant Sales Order (if one exists) is voided. If no corresponding ShipCompliant Sales Order exists, one is created. If the Nexternal order does not substantially match the ShipCompliant Sales Order and overriding is allowed (based on the Override Option selected in Settings / Compatible Software - Edit / Alcoholic Beverage Tools / Preferences screen) is on, the ShipCompliant order is voided and replaced. If overriding is not allowed, an error (yellow icon) is returned. If the Nexternal order (or any shipment within an order) is Shipped but the ShipCompliant order (or shipment) is not, the ShipCompliant order (or shipment) is set to Shipped, and any applicable Tracking Numbers are exported from Nexternal to ShipCompliant. If the ShipCompliant order (or any shipment within an order) is Shipped but the Nexternal order (or shipment) is not, the Nexternal order (or shipment) is set to Shipped, and any applicable Tracking Numbers are imported from ShipCompliant to Nexternal. Otherwise, the ShipCompliant Sales Order's Shipment Statuses are synchronized with Nexternal's Billing Status as specified by the Status Mappings on the Preferences screen.
