no sales tax order nontaxable taxable customer type
Question:
A customer placed an order but wasn’t charged tax for his order. The products he ordered are marked as taxable and it appears that we have our tax settings for that state set up properly in settings>sales tax. What could be the issue?
Response:
Most likely you do not have this customer type set-up to charge sales tax. To check this, navigate to customers>types (click next) and look at the column for sales tax. Is the box checked for the correct customer type? If not, check it and click finish.
