Tracking Customer Purchases With Affiliates and / or Google Analytics

Is it possible to track sales based upon where the customer clicked in from?
Response:
There are two ways to track this information.
The first way is setting up affiliates and using the affiliate links for ads or links to your site that you control (banner ads, pay-per-click campaigns, email campaigns, etc).
Second, Nexternal is integrated with Google Analytics, a free statistics service. You can sign up for a Google Analytics account and simply plug your account number into the Google Analytics account field in the Order Management System (Settings/Policies Addenda & Disclaimers/Google Analytics). This will then provide specific details about your sales and traffic.
