Inventory Backordered Sold Out Discontinued Revert to Normal Allow Negative

With Inventory Control on, how can I allow a product's status to revert from Sold Out back to Normal when a Line Item of that product is canceled?
Response:
Product Status can change from Backordered/Sold Out/Discontinued to Normal when Line Items are canceled if and only if the Allow Negative option is on (Settings/Site Options/Inventory Control in the Order Management System).
