How can I export sales data to my accounting system?

If you are using QuickBooks, you can either export your order data through a preformatted .iif file (Orders/Export/QuickBooks), save it then upload the file into your QuickBooks system (File/Utilities/Export/iif/file name import). This requires you to first set the Preferences in Nexternal to match exactly your preferences in your QuickBooks system. Another option is to use a real-time integration (a web bridge that automates the order data from Nexternal right into your QuickBooks system which eliminates the manual data transfer.) If you use another accounting package, you can always hire a software integrator to build a script with the Nexternal excel or access order export file to upload into your specific accounting system.
